Self Directed and Face to Face Education
Our Self directed (online) course portal is now operational.
Currently we have online versions of our Asthma Educators and Smoking Cessation Courses that comprise of pack presentations, webinar records (from live presentations) and associated presentation artefacts/fact sheets/guidelines etc - as well as quizzes and formal assessment options.
Covid - 2020, 2021, 2022,23,24 and beyond….
2020 and COVID19 heralded challenges and opportunities for the centre.
As a provider to Health professionals, with the onset of COVID, the year’s on-site, face to face: Courses, Seminars, Updates and Refreshers were cancelled - to protect both attendees but also our presenters, colleagues and partners, whom actively practice at the Alfred and beyond. Due to ongoing visitor restrictions, Alfred on-site presentations are offered on a live/webinar basis - we will book spaces but will as a matter of course present courses online.
Adjusting to the new “normal”, the team and our partners are pleased to offer a new Syllabus of directed on-line and self directed education offerings, with the promise of on premise based (face to face) education once it is safe to do so. The team are now seeking alternate training facilities (in addition to Alfred teaching spaces) to allow us to support F2F training
